Hello! I am a kindergarten teacher and this is my attempt to write about how we have integrated technology into our classroom. This year has been a whirlwind of activity. It started with the announcement that our computer resource was gone. In its place we now had “tech connect” which we would team teach with the technology integrators. To say the least this didn’t go over very well with the teachers. Here it was just a couple of days before the first day of school, our floors still had not been waxed (which translates into we couldn’t setup our rooms yet) and we just found out we have one less resource each week!
In reality is has been an amazing journey of learning for the kids and the teachers. The teachers have learned how to use so many different technology tools and the kids have been engaged is a whole new way.
